INFORMATION
The responsibility to provide umpires for ball games belongs to each Little League Association. In addition, the Calgary Area Baseball Umpires Association (CABUA) is only able to provide umpires for the Senior and higher levels.
Cochrane Minor Ball has revised its level of compensation and will institute the following fee schedule for umpires who have completed a National Certification Umpires Program (NCUP) clinic:
| NCUP Level 1 | $25.00 per game |
| NCUP Level 2 | $30.00 per game |
| Bonus | $5.00 per game for either level when game covered by a single umpire |
Starting in 2008, Cochrane Minor Ball will require each umpire to re-certify at their chosen level for the upcoming season.
