DEVELOPMENTAL BALL
The first level of developmental ball is TeeBall for children of 5 to 6 years of age. In TeeBall the focus is on teaching the basics of the game, including throwing and catching. The number of children on each team is kept small to ensure individual attention. Teams meet twice a week for games and practice. All play is held in the town of Cochrane.
Coach's Pitch, for 7 to 8 year olds, expands on the basics of catching, throwing and hitting learned in T-Ball. A basic understanding of the game and team play is introduced. Teams meet twice a week for practice and games in Cochrane.
Challenger league is open to any male or female of any age, who for whatever reason is unable to participate in a regular league. Rules are relaxed with the focus being on participation and fun rather than competition. Adaptations are made to accommodate everyone as best we can. Regular days are Thursday evenings at the Glenbow School field, which is wheelchair accessible.
We have an exchange with the Calgary Challenger League where they come out to play against us once and we go to Calgary to play one evening.
